For this classic Tudor in the Oakland Hills, we’re mixing vintage pieces with custom contemporary furnishings to create a layered look that feels true to a historic home. Soft textiles in a refreshed palette of bright, cool, earthy tones update and soften the space.

L I V I N G
For a couple who love to collect and restore antiques, we worked to find contemporary pieces that complemented their collection. Custom woodworking ensured patina, and bespoke upholstery granted new shapes a bit of character.
D I N I N G
A spectacular burlwood console and mirror bring light from the garden into the dining space, and tie the brand new kitchen into the rest of the historic home. Custom banquette upholstery for the dining nook lends softness and comfort to this bright, utilitarian space.
P R I M A R Y S U I T E
A plush antique-inspired rug and custom linen-upholstered bed create an enveloping retreat. A vintage wicker lamp and chair upholstered with a perfectly-worn Turkish rug remnant are one-of-a-kind accents.
