Our Approach
Our work is rooted in our connection to the natural landscapes of Northern California, and elemental in its influences; the gray-green of eucalyptus, the weathered strength of Sierra granite, the particular quality of coastal light on an old plaster wall. We work with architecture rather than against it, revealing and refining rather than decorating. We privilege natural materials with character and patina, and objects made by hand. Every choice is guided by deep design knowledge, an instinct for beauty, and a reverence for place.
Full Service Interior Design
We are a full service interior design firm drawn to homes with story. Our work begins early, guiding projects from space planning and material selection through to lighting, furnishings and the finishing elements. Our process strips back what doesn't belong, preserves what does, and layers in materials, objects, and custom pieces that feel specific to our clients and native to the West Coast. We work closely with local artists, craftspeople, and makers whose work carries the same sense of place we bring to every project.

We begin with a discovery call to learn about your project and determine whether we're a good fit. From there we schedule an initial consultation at your home, after which we provide a project proposal outlining our design vision and scope of work.
