In this Santa Barbara home, our client requested we bring in the beauty of the coastline (the beach is just down the street) with the warm, county style she grew up with. We paired an ocean-inspired palette with natural textures like wood, seagrass, and silver to bring her vision to life. Choosing furnishings with a nod to the traditional, we honored the architecture of the home, including its brick fireplace, moldings, and built-in cabinetry. Marine accents throughout the home, including sea glass, nautical rope, and maps recall the client’s childhood explorations of the nearby Channel Islands aboard the family boat.
